BOO!!!! FROM ANNANDALE'S GHOST HORSES

Do you have a good imagination? Can you see the ancient Ghost (or white) Horses in this photo? Taken last summer in Santa Fe, New Mexico, we can! We see white horses thundering into the 21st century from their ancient Siberian past? They are every bit as awesome, beautiful and powerful as this picture conveys and will produce spotted foals 99.9% of the time.  So far we show 100% records of colorful foal production from these gorgeous white horses.  Click here to see more white horses.
Since the original Tiger or "Heavenly" Horses from Siberia are extinct, we have no way of knowing what they really looked like but we do know when modern day Tiger Horses inherit 2 copies of the Lp gene (leopard spotting coat patterning gene) (we've named them Ghost Horses), they tend to look amazingly alike.  Not only do they share body markings, they share many other similarities. ie, temperament and gait type and strengths.  Their amazing similarities to one another leads us to believe that the original herd probably closely resembled the rare Ghost Horses we are producing today in the USA.       A medley of "white" Ghost Horses is offered for our enjoyment below. To see them in more detail, click on each picture of interest.

At the present time there are 11 Tigre approved and registered white horses in the Ghost Horse category. Five are stallions, the rest are mares.
They are not "white horses" in the true sense of the word because they have mottled skin and base coat colored markings which separates them from mere white horses who have pink skin (if they're true whites) and black skin (if they have turned white because they are grays). Only the Ghost Horses (our "white horses") are spotted horse producers. They have 2 copies of the Leopard Complex gene (otherwise known as Lp or LP gene) and always pass 1 copy to their foals. This type tends to perform a gait we named "shuffle" and closely resembles the jog-trot of the cowboys horse except it has been clocked at from 13 to 17mph and we weren't even pushing. It is a smoother, faster ride than the jog-trot. (below) Annandale's two types of Ghost Horse mares.
