Do you have a good imagination? Can you see the ancient Ghost Horses in this photo taken last summer in Santa Fe, New Mexico? We can. We see them thundering into the 21st
century from their ancient Siberian past? They are every bit as awesome, beautiful and powerful as this picture conveys. Since the original Tiger or "Heavenly" Horses from Siberia are extinct, we have no way of
knowing what they really looked like but we do know when modern day Tiger Horses inherit 2 copies of the Lp gene (leopard spotting coat patterning gene) (we've named them Ghost Horses), they tend to look amazingly
alike. Not only do they share body markings, they share many other similarities. ie, temperament and gait type and strengths. Their amazing similarities to one another leads us to believe that the original
herd probably closely resembled the rare Ghost Horses we are producing today in the USA. A medley of Ghost Horses below but to see a more detailed selection of these incredible horses visit them at Tiger Horse Headquarters but please come back and finish your Tiger Horse tour at Annandale's Tiger Horse Farm where this modern day breed began. |
