( below) Annandale's Amazing Grace (Annandale's Avalanche X Annandale's Journey). Grace is our most recent foal and will eventually be spotted like her Dam is. Born Spring 2011, Grace was nearly 6 weeks over due and as you can see below, was born with the longest legs in the world. She is ultra feminine, very correct, and demonstrates a diagonal and varied gait. (below right ) Just minutes after she was helped into the world.

Photographed hot off the press at a few minutes of age, Annandale's Amazing Grace is a mahogany bay filly, out of the mare Annandale's Journey and by the stallion Annandale's Avalanche.  This lovely filly is clearly SOULON type. Although born solid in color, she has striped hooves and will develop more Lp gene characteristics as she matures. Based on our findings regarding the inheritence of gait, we were not expecting a filly to be gaited but she appears have some sort of ability in the gait department but definitely prefers to trot. This was the first time we had used a mare that was so close to hard pace, as to prefer to break to it when asked for speed. Sired by Annandale's Avalanche, a lateral "glider" (almost a trotter who breaks to it when slowed), was an interesting match. This filly has inherited the very best that each parent had to offer, and we are well pleased with her potential for superior Tiger Horse production. As most foals will perform the running walk within their first 10 days of life, only the strongly gaited ones will not change.  As the only "non-gaited" horse in our current herd, she will have to prove herself worthy in the breeding shed to be kept on for that purpose.

Foals at Annandale have always been excellent. This recent group is exceptional.
Expect nothing but the best from Annandale and nothing but
SOULON type to reign supreme.
Think Annandale; The
SOULON Tiger Horse Farm.
